The role requires basic math, attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety and PPE guidelines in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.

Qualifications

• Math; ability to read English instructions and complete logs/reports.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull and position components.
• Follow scheduled hours and company policies.
• Stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.
• Learn fundamental machining concepts and use measuring devices.
• Work with supervisors to optimize production processes.
• Attention to detail to maintain quality standards.
• Demonstrate dependability and consistent performance.
• Be flexible to shifting production demands.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from sheets, blueprints, or supervisor guidance.
• Install and secure dies, punches, blades, or fixtures for safe machine operation.
• Set up and operate lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines per specs.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges to verify tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and use PPE as required.
• Perform additional duties across departments as needed.
