Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear seeks a diligent Machine Operator for 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM). You will follow instructions, set up fixtures, and operate various machines including CNCs to produce precision components. Emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork in a non-climate-controlled shop.

The role requires physical stamina, basic math, and the ability to read English production logs. Growth opportunities exist within a growing company as you contribute to efficient manufacturing

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend English instructions and logs.
• Able to lift heavy items and stand for entire shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from sheets or supervisor.
• Install machine fixtures and set up equipment.
• Operate lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines per specs.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers and gauges to meet tolerances.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow PPE protocols.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
