Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Machine Operator to ensure safe and efficient production of molded OES products and prepare items for shipping. The role emphasizes adherence to customer specifications, quality control, and timely communication of issues to minimize production loss.

The operator will inspect pieces, trim excess material, and assemble components as required, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following all safety procedures in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate verbally or in writing.
• Ability to display safety orientation.
• Physical demands include walking, climbing stairs/ladders, standing, bending, stretching, and using hands to grasp items.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Indoor work is generally warm in summer; limited outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Review production specifications for each SKU before shift.
• Remove product from machine to maintain schedule.
• Trim, file or cut excess flash per specs.
• Inspect pieces against quality standards and specs.
• Inform supervisor of quality issues or damages to limit losses.
• Install or assemble additional components per order specs.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report safety concerns.
• Label, package, and stack finished product for shipping.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
• Keep workstation clean and organized.
