Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a Plant Operator to operate machinery and follow safety policies to produce a high-quality product. The role involves adjustments, quality checks, and routine maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to read technical documents. A flexible schedule and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required; experience with concrete paving equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read specifications to determine machine adjustments and material needs.
• Set stops or guides to specified lengths.
• Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Review product for consistency and quality to meet requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Assist others to set up machines and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Other duties as needed.
