Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Jackson, TN is seeking a Machine Operator to run blade manufacturing equipment and monitor heat-treat processes. The role requires standing for long shifts and lifting up to 40 lbs, with a 3pm-1am shift, Monday-Thursday.

A GED or high school diploma is required along with prior machine operator experience. You will perform quality checks, basic PMs, and handle paperwork while contributing to a safety-conscious, high-output production team.

Qualifications

• Operate blade manufacturing equipment including start-up/shutdown and problem-solving.
• Operate and monitor furnaces, tempering furnaces, endothermic gas generator, and other heat-treat equipment.
• Safely operate and move heavy loads on overhead crane system and mobile equipment.
• Perform cleaning, basic PM, minor changeovers, and tooling adjustments.
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, indicators and other gauges.
• Maintain lubrication and oil/coolant levels on machinery.
• Maintain and operate multiple machines concurrently.
• Complete necessary forms and paperwork.
