Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a CNC Production Machinist for the 2nd shift in Jackson, TN. The role involves loading/unloading parts, performing quality checks with precision gauges, and maintaining machine PMs. You’ll manage multiple machines and handle simple CNC program adjustments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years related experience or training.
• Machinist 1 diploma strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with basic shop skills including 5S and safety practices.
• Ability to read part prints and understand tolerances, GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and parts safely.
• Perform quality checks with calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Maintain lubrication and coolant levels; PM of machinery.
• Operate multiple machines and manage start-ups/shut downs.
• Modify CNC programs for simple job changes and check parts.
