Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Jackson, TN is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate blade manufacturing equipment, monitor furnaces and heat-treat systems, and handle heavy loads with cranes while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, prior machine operator experience, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. This full-time, first-shift role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Machine operator experience required.
• Capable of following written and verbal instructions.
• Standing 8–10 hours and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate blade manufacturing equipment, including start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting.
• Operate and monitor high-temperature furnaces and heat-treat equipment.
• Safely move heavy loads with overhead crane and mobile equipment.
• Perform cleaning, basic PMs, minor changeovers, and tooling adjustments.
• Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators.
• Perform operator PM with lubrication and checking oil/coolant levels.
• Maintain and operate multiple machines simultaneously.
• Complete required forms and paperwork.
