Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required.
• Certification in lumber grading preferred; non-certified graders may be considered if training is in progress.
• No minimum experience required, but manufacturing or lumber experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Grades and sorts softwood SPF and SYP according to inspection requirements.
• Moves and secures lumber and materials per instructions.
• Stacks finished products to specified bundle sizes or customer requirements.
• Labels material by type, size and count; attaches customer specifications.
• Maintains accurate inventory of tags and production records.
• Participates in safety, CI and other programs.
