Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• General understanding or knowledge of the transportation industry.

• Logistics/transportation experience 2–3 years preferred.
• Customer service experience in a professional environment.
• Phone-based communication in sales or customer service role

Responsibilities

• Create orders and shipments in the LMS using customer load information.
• Obtain pickup and delivery appointments via phone, email, or websites.
• Reschedule delivery and pickup appointments when needed.
• Verify emails with customer information changes.
• Verify LMS data matches information on customer websites.
• Assist Customer and Carrier Sales with related tasks.
• Meet individual productivity goals.
• Perform routing, dispatch, and traffic duties as needed.
• Develop relationships with shipping and receiving locations.
• Assist team members and managers with related duties.
