Job summary

Oldcastle APG, part of CRH, seeks an Equipment and Machine Operator in the Mid-Atlantic region to operate heavy equipment and follow safety policies to produce a high-quality product. The role requires reading specifications and adjusting equipment accordingly, with daily maintenance tasks and strict attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus ability to pass internal certification.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and maintain accuracy in tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specified lengths using scales, rules or templates.
• Perform routine maintenance: lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
• Inspect and complete equipment reports daily.
• Maintain housekeeping in the assigned area.
