Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, seeks a Loader Operator for the night shift to operate heavy equipment safely and produce a high‑quality product. You will follow safety policies, read specifications, and prepare equipment for daily production.

You will perform routine maintenance, document daily reports, and ensure the work area stays clean and organized while adhering to all safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required plus 2 years of related trades experience.
• Must pass internal certification program.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and maintain accurate records.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule or templates.
• Observe equipment operation to detect machine malfunction.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
• Inspect and complete equipment reports daily.
• Maintain a clean and orderly assigned area.
• Move levers, shift gears, depress pedals and maneuver steering wheel as required.
• Other duties as needed.
