Job summary

Oldcastle APG in North Carolina is seeking an Equipment and Machine Operator to support our production line. You will operate forklifts and front end loaders, loading materials and moving product while adhering to safety rules to help produce a superior finished good.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read loading slips and safety manuals.
• Follow all safety procedures at all times.
• Able to carry out written and oral instructions.
• Lift up to 70 lbs; manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to move product.
• Operate loaders to keep production stocked.
• Rotate and place finished goods properly.
• Label and package products for inventory.
• Load trucks with finished product for delivery.
• Ensure packaging and pallets are safe for shipment.
• Complete daily paperwork including equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
