Job summary

Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel is seeking an Intermediate Cook for Nobu to support food preparation and side-work as directed by the Chef. You will ensure guests have a superior dining experience by timing and preparing all menu items.

You will set up stations, read tickets, maintain quality, and uphold health standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced casino kitchen. Training and occasional special assignments are part of the role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up workstation according to kitchen guidelines.
• Prepare, season, finish, and garnish items per recipes.
• Read tickets and prepare items with accuracy.
• Maintain quality standards and report inconsistencies.
• Inspect refrigeration and dry storage for proper temps and rotation.
• Wrap, label and date all food products per standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Handle food to minimize waste and maintain health codes.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work station independently with minimal supervision.
• Participate in pre-service and closing duties.
• Demonstrate passion for detail and willingness to learn.
