Job summary

B&A Precision is seeking a Precision Lathe Programmer-Operator to set up and run CNC lathes on first shift. You will read blueprints with GD&T, write and tweak G-code, validate first pieces, and ensure high-precision parts for mission-critical programs. Expect a collaborative, detail-oriented team and competitive hourly compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of CNC lathe setup/operation experience.
• Proficiency in CNC programming, G-code, blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Meticulous attention to detail and precision in a team-based environment.
• U.S. Person Status required.

We’re looking for a Precision Lathe Programmer-Operator who enjoys turning complex prints into proven, repeatable setups—and who is comfortable reporting directly to the Shop President.What problem will you solve today?Can you set up and run 2- and 3-axis CNC horizontal lathes without drama?Do Fanuc controls feel second nature?Are you confident tweaking or writing G-code to get cycle times and finishes where they need to be?Can you read blueprints with GD&T and translate them into a clean, capable process?Will you validate first piece and in-process dimensions using the right measuring instruments and gages?Have you worked with bar feeding systems?
