Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a CNC Lathe Programmer / Manufacturing Analyst for a 1st shift. The role develops and implements advanced manufacturing solutions for precision aerospace components using state-of-the-art CNC equipment and software.

You will create and optimize NC programs in Siemens NX for lathe and mill-turn operations, validate them virtually and on the machine, and collaborate with design engineers to improve part manufacturability; you will also assist with setup, documentation,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of NC programming experience using CAM software, majority on lathes.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software with understanding of CAD principles and GD&T.
• Fundamental understanding of machining work holding strategy, cutting tool selection, and gaging selection.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize NC programs in Siemens NX for complex machining operations on lathe and mill-turn machines.
• Validate NC programs virtually through machine simulation.
• Perform on-machine program validation and optimization.
• Collaborate with design engineers to improve part designs for manufacturability.
• Participate in equipment installation, runoff, and production startup.
• Create process-related work instruction documentation.
