Job summary

Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC is seeking an HVL Operator for second shift to assemble high-volume segmented blades up to 48” diameter. You will operate multiple process machines, perform routine maintenance, and ensure production volume targets are met in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires basic CNC setup/operation knowledge, QC measurement skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Join a team focused on quality and efficiency in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic CNC setup and operation of equipment.
• Ability to use micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Radius grinding of segments for laser welding with QC checks.
• Laser welding of segments to cores with QC checks.
• Sharpening and exposure grinding of blades with QC checks.
• Degreasing of blades after sharpening.
• Degreasing of cores prior to welding.
• Basic maintenance and cleaning of assembly machines.
• Cleanup of department floors and walls; maintain organized tools.
