Job summary

Unknown is seeking an Laser Marking Operator I in New Hampshire to operate laser marking equipment and ensure markings meet prints and customer requirements.

The role requires reading prints, using measurement tools (calipers, mics, comparators), and performing quality inspections. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and prior manufacturing experience is preferred. The position is on-site with standard production hours.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets prints and dimensions.
• Math aptitude for decimals and tolerance calculations.
• Prefer computer skills and basic software knowledge.
• Prefer reading blue prints (Level 2) and measurement tool use (Level 1).

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down laser marking machines.
• Follow program notes to build and install fixturing.
• Maintain line clearance for each job.
• Complete jobs per standard procedures.
• Perform 100% visual inspection of markings on each piece.
• Measure dimensions with calipers, mics, or comparators to confirm accuracy and adjust as needed.
• Ensure proper focus for desired markings.
• Initials and date indicating piece count.
• Read and interpret customer prints.
