Job summary

Unknown is seeking an Laser Marking Operator I in New Hampshire to operate laser marking equipment and ensure markings meet prints and customer requirements.

The role requires reading prints, using measurement tools (calipers, mics, comparators), and performing quality inspections. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and prior manufacturing experience is preferred. The position is on-site with standard production hours.

Qualifications

• Math aptitude for decimals and tolerance calculations.
• Prefer computer skills and basic software knowledge.
• Prefer reading blue prints (Level 2) and measurement tool use (Level 1).

Position Summary

The Laser Marking Operator I will operate laser marking machine and laser mark instruments per customers' prints and requirements.

Principle Responsibilities

• Starts up and shuts down laser marking machines
• Follows program notes to build and install fixturing.
• Maintains proper line clearance for job
• Completes jobs per standard procedures
• Performs 100% visual inspection of markings on each piece.
• Measures any dimensions using proper equipment to confirm program is correct (i.e., caliper, optical comparator, gauging) and adjusts as needed.
• Confirms proper focus to achieve desired markings.
• Initials, dates, and confirms piece count is correct
• Works independently and maintains productivity and quality.
• Reads and interprets prints.

Qualification Requirements

Credentials/Experience:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Prefer the ability to read blue prints (Level 2) and use measurement tools (level 1)
• Math aptitude with the ability to add and subtract decimals.
• Prefer computer skills
• Prefer Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Prefer Drawing Editor software experience.(Level 2)
• Prefer working knowledge of working with inspection equipment (calipers, mics, comparators)
