Job summary

ALS USA Inc in North Las Vegas is seeking a Sample Preparation Technician (P2) to handle client samples and prepare them for analysis in our labs. The role requires manual skills for ringing, sieving, crushing, and splitting, under supervision, with responsibilities for equipment checks and safety adherence.

You will contribute to accurate production logs and maintain basic lab cleanliness while supporting potential layout tasks and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Good hand-eye coordination is required.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Basic alpha/numeric comprehension.
• Basic English communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Ringing, sieving, crushing, and splitting under supervision.
• Loading and unloading drying ovens under supervision.
• Maintain own production logs and keep basic lab cleanliness.
• May assist with layout duties/tasks.
• Inspecting equipment and inform senior employee if adjustment is required.
• Observe safety regulations and ALS health and safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
