Job summary

ALS in North Las Vegas is seeking a Sample Preparation Technician (P2) to prepare client samples for analysis in our labs. You will perform ringing, sieving, crushing, and other prep work under supervision, contributing to accurate data and timely results.

The role requires good hand-eye coordination, the ability to work alone or in a team, and basic English communication. We offer a diverse, safety-focused environment and opportunities to grow within ALS.

Qualifications

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic English communication (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Ringing, sieving (including International Soils), crushing, splitting under direct supervision
• Loading and unloading drying ovens under supervision
• Maintain own production logs
• General cleaning duties for basic lab cleanliness
• May assists with layout duties/tasks
• Handling compositing, screen metallics, special handling requests, etc.
• Inspecting equipment and inform senior employee if adjustment is required
• analytical quality
• Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned.
