Job summary

Certified Group is seeking a Sample Preparation Technician to prepare samples, standards, reagents, and other laboratory solutions in compliance with SOPs and quality requirements. The role supports chemists by ensuring materials and equipment are ready for accurate analyses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred.
• Previous lab/sample preparation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lab safety practices and chemical handling.
• Ability to follow written SOPs and analytical methods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.”
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a laboratory team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and solutions for analytical testing.
• Weigh and transfer samples accurately according to SOPs and methods.
• Prepare calibration standards, QC and spike solutions, and internal standards.
• Assist Chemists with instrument preparation and laboratory setup.
• Maintain GLP compliance and proper documentation of results and materials.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
