Job summary

ALS is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Preparation Technician in the Metals Department to aliquot samples, transport them to storage locations, and dispose of expired materials in a safe, compliant manner.

You will follow SOPs, complete chain-of-custodies, perform turbidity and pH verification, subcontract analyses as needed, and maintain thorough documentation while upholding PPE and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Transport samples to storage locations and dispose of expired samples.
• Follow SOPs and QA manuals.
• Complete and interpret Chain of Custodies (COCs).
• Perform analytical tests including turbidity and pH verification.
• Aliquot samples for various methodologies and subcontract analyses as needed.
• Document activities and report results concisely and accurately.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, QA manuals, and HSE policies.
