Job summary

IntelliSource is hiring an Inventory Control & Quality Assurance (ICQA) Associate for our high-volume e-commerce fulfillment environment in Worcester, MA. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, audits, and shrink reduction, requiring precise data handling and proactive problem-solving.

You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and partner with operations to strengthen inventory controls. This contract runs through late 2026 with potential extension based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, inventory-control, quality-control, or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to use handheld scanners, warehouse management systems, and inventory applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and directed cycle counts to validate physical inventory against system inventory.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, including missing, misplaced, damaged, overage, shortage, and inaccurate inventory.
• Verify product locations, quantities, item identifiers, and inventory status throughout the facility.
• Investigate inventory variances and determine potential root causes.
• Support inventory reconciliations and corrective adjustments in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor inventory movement and identify unusual transactions or patterns that may contribute to shrink.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management and inventory systems.
• Document defects and provide timely feedback to operational leadership.
