Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. is seeking team-oriented assemblers to safely assemble equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders. You will work with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components using a variety of tools in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include installing accessories, operating an overhead crane, and performing precise measurements. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs solo and up to 60 lbs with a team, and be prepared for overtime

Qualifications

6+ months of experience in manufacturing or general labor.
Ability to read and follow instructions and schematics.
Willingness to work overtime and on weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
Measure accurately using tools like tape measures.
Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
Identify required options from schematics and standard work instructions.
Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs).
Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety rules.
