Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Assembly Tech - Hose to assist in assembling hydraulic hose and components per factory specifications for external customers. Responsibilities include cutting, fitting, assembling hoses and fittings, and testing completed assemblies.

You will maintain inventory, use a computer and Outlook, and apply basic hydraulic knowledge to ensure accurate, timely builds. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with different hoses and thread configurations.
• Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Outlook.
• Use of various hand tools and shop equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Basic knowledge of fluid power.
• Mechanical aptitude to read specs and assemble parts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic hose parts or components per vendor specs.
• Cut, fit, and assemble hose and fittings.
• Inspect or test completed assemblies.
• Maintain proper inventory by counting, reordering, or shipping materials.
• Meet deadlines and manage workload.
