Job summary

Charah Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator to join our field team. You will load, move, and grade earth using backhoes, loaders, dozers, excavators, and graders, following engineered plans with precision.

Responsibilities include coordinating machine actions, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to safety regulations while working flexible hours (nights, weekends, holidays). A valid drivers license and at least three years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years7 experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar environment.
• Valid driver9s license required.
• Experience with GPS grading systems (Trimble or Topcon) preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and/or move materials using heavy construction equipment.
• Drive and maneuver equipment with blades to grade and level terrain.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and other activities.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify maintenance needs.
• Follow safety regulations and promote safe work practices.
