Qualifications

• Three years' experience operating heavy equipment in construction or similar.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in production-focused environments preferred.
• Experience utilizing GPS grading systems (Trimble/Topcon) preferred.
• Knowledge of ash management, structural fills and landfills preferred.
• Knowledge of machines, repairs and maintenance preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and/or move materials (ash, dirt, rock) using heavy equipment.
• Drive and maneuver equipment with blades in passes to level earth.
• Coordinate machine actions with other crew members.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify maintenance needs.
• Adjust controls for precise positioning as required.
• Learn, follow and promote all safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
