Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking a SUPERBA OPERATOR in Rome, GA. You will safely operate heatset machinery to meet quality and production goals, identify yarn quality during runs, and handle yarn packages as required in a fast-paced textile environment.

You will also creel and wind, use black light to verify no mixes, and follow all safety procedures while performing housekeeping tasks and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of all required on-the-job training and safety training.
• Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heatset machinery to meet quality, production and efficiency goals.
• Identify yarn quality during production runs.
• Doff finished yarn packages as required.
• Run creeling and winding as needed.
• Use black light to check for no mixes.
• Attend training as deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform housekeeping and other tasks assigned by management.
