Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Successful completion of all required on the job training
• Health and environmental safety training completed
• Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heatset machinery to meet quality, production and efficiency goals
• Function as the primary source of finish application in yarn conversion
• Maintain efficiency and meet production standards
• Proactively identifies yarn quality during production runs
• Selects and stages tubes for winder operation
• Doffs off finished yarn packages as required
• Maintains daily production records
• Run creeling and winding sides when needed
• Use black light to check for mixes
• Attend job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow standard operating and safety procedures and company policies
• Perform general housekeeping and other tasks as assigned by management
