Job summary

CADREX Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Hardware Operator I to operate and maintain hardware equipment in our Bloomingdale, IL production environment. You will set up machines, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, perform hardware assembly, verify measurements, and ensure quality throughout the process while following SOPs and PPE safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience as Hardware Operator in manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hardware machinery operation and safety.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.
• Capable of using precision measuring tools accurately.
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hardware machinery such as drilling machines, cutting saws, lathes, or mills.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions for accurate production processes.
• Monitor machine operation and detect abnormalities or deviations.
• Perform hardware assembly tasks and ensure precise measurements.
• Inspect installations and finished products for quality and alignment.
• Collaborate with QA to resolve issues and drive corrective actions.
• Perform routine maintenance and coordinate repairs with technicians.
• Follow safety guidelines and report hazards or near-misses.
