Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions in Illinois is seeking a Hardware Operator I to set up, operate, and maintain hardware machinery in a fast-paced production environment. You will perform drilling, cutting, shaping, and assembly, while ensuring precision and adherence to safety and quality standards.
The role requires reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with maintenance and QA teams.
Cadrex is searching for a Hardware Operator I who will be responsible for operating and maintaining hardware equipment used in the production of our products. Your role will involve setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting hardware machinery, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality standards. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
