Aerotek is hiring a Hardware Installer to assemble precision sheet metal components in a hands-on manufacturing environment in Spokane, WA. You will read blueprints, set up presses, and install fastening hardware with accuracy, joining a team that values craftsmanship and quality.

The role emphasizes reading drawings, performing measurements with calipers and micrometers, and maintaining equipment to meet strict specifications.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong math skills including fractions and measurements.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hardware insertion presses, drill presses, and tapping machines.
• Install rivets, studs, nuts, and other fastening hardware into fabricated metal parts.
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders and manufacturing documentation.
• Configure and adjust equipment to meet production specifications.
• Inspect finished components for quality, alignment and accuracy.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Monitor machine performance and maintain tooling and coolant systems.
• Complete production records and inspection documentation.
• Collaborate with welding, fabrication, assembly, finishing, and quality teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
