• Determining grinding speeds, feed rates, holding fixtures, and grinding wheels to be used
• Determining product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be ground per blueprints and router instructions
• Applicant must be able to setup and use micrometers, dial bore gauges, snap gauges, profilometers, sine bars, etc.
• Attention to detail and following instructions
• Having a general understanding of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

Requirements

• O.D., I.D., and Infeed grinding experience
• Knowledge of gauging equipment for holding close tolerances
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Ability to use hand tools for set-up and assembly
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Work with grinding coolants, cleaning fluids, and anti-rust oil
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
