Job summary

BD is a leading medical technology company seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move products within the distribution center. You will unload, put away, pick pallets, and replenish stock using material handling equipment.

Responsibilities include operating high reach/counterbalance forklifts, using RF scanners and WMS for inventory control, and adhering to safety procedures. Cross-training and backup support are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of relevant distribution experience is required in lieu of diploma.
• Intermediate experience with high-reach or counterbalance forklifts is required.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload, put away double deep, bulk and full pallet pick, load, replenishment).
• Operate material handling equipment including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
• Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products throughout the site.
• Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.
• Follow site safety procedures, including required PPE (safety vest, safety shoes).
• Cross train and provide backup support when required.
