Job summary

Medifast is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move materials and finished goods within our distribution and manufacturing facilities. You will operate powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment, load and unload shipments, and maintain accurate inventory movements while following OSHA and company safety standards.

Daily duties include PIT inspections, palletizing, put-aways, and supporting warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6–12 months forklift operation experience preferred.
• Experience operating stand-up/sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain PIT certification.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and safe forklift procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate PIT equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
• Load/unload, move, stack, and stage materials and finished goods with accuracy.
• Complete put-away and inventory movements without damage.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement records and report discrepancies.
• Support inbound/outbound shipments and dock operations.
• Perform daily PIT inspections and report maintenance needs.
