Job summary

JBS USA is seeking an hourly Machine Operator GL3 for the 2nd shift. The role requires precise adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and ability to modify programs based on equipment and product needs.

You will be the final quality checkpoint before products reach customers, while adhering to food safety and GMP standards. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, loading/unloading, monitoring lines, and performing safety checks.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in General Production 2 and related safety rules.
• Ability to operate basic production equipment and machinery.
• Basic understanding of production procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and conveyors.
• Monitor production lines, identify issues, and replenish packaging materials.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet specs.
• Inspect and remove defective products from the process.
• Follow safety protocols and complete safety checklist; operate pallet jack and forklift as needed.
