Job summary

JBS USA is hiring a Machine Operator GL3 for the 2nd shift. The role requires precise adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and the ability to modify program settings to meet production standards. It is a team-based position with safety as a priority and potential overtime.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement and timely line readiness.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in General Production 2.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• 2+ years’ production industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to understand and comply with company, plant, and safety rules/policies.
• Basic understanding of production and procedures.
• Ability to use knives, saws, and a variety of machinery.
• Ability to lift, load, cut and package product.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and conveyors.
• Monitor production lines, identify issues, supply and replenish packaging materials as necessary.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet product specifications.
• Inspect and remove defective products and/or packaging materials from the process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Set up, tear down of equipment, and operate pallet jack/forklift when required.
