Job summary

Archer Meat Snacks in California is seeking an Operator to safely run production equipment, monitor quality, and follow SOPs and SQF guidelines to ensure food safety and efficiency.

You will perform routine quality checks, log production data, and assist with downtime analysis while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role requires LOTO compliance, proper tool use, and teamwork to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related experience.
• Must be fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program and safety procedures.
• Report safety incidents or hazards to Supervisor/Team Lead.
• Adhere to GMPs and SOPs for trained procedures.
• Report contamination risks and food safety concerns.
• Perform routine quality inspections and AQL checks.
• Use Safety Chain and other systems to capture production data.
• Meet or exceed yield, scrap, and RFT targets.
• Set up and tear down equipment per SOPs.
• Record downtime and assist with improvements.
• Communicate mechanical issues to Team Lead and assist maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping and inventory levels.
• Manage quick changeovers per cleaning matrix.
