Job summary

Echo Lake Foods, a Burlington, Wisconsin-based producer of ready-to-eat egg products, is hiring a Mixer. You will stage, weigh, batch, and mix ingredients with precision, following approved formulas and SOPs to meet quality and safety standards.

You’ll perform in-process checks, document deviations, and ensure traceability from lot to COA, while working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and adhering to GMP, HACCP, allergen controls, and sanitation requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed production formulas, SOPs, and GMP requirements with high accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in weighing, measuring, and recording ingredients.
• Ability to work in cold, warm, or humid production environments.
• Ability to lift bags and ingredients up to 50 lbs and handle repetitive physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stage, verify, and weigh ingredients according to approved formulas, recipes, and master batch sheets; ensure traceability and correct allergen status.
• Operate mixers and related equipment following SOPs and process limits; monitor cycles for product consistency and CQAs.
• Perform in-process checks (texture, temperature, homogeneity) and escalate any Out-of-Spec results.
• Document deviations or unusual conditions immediately; maintain accurate batch logs and records.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist with cleaning and sanitization per SSOPs.
