Job summary

Richmond Baking Company is seeking a Fuji Operator to support safe, high-quality production and strict adherence to process controls. The role requires following Plex guidelines, performing routine machine checks, and ensuring product integrity from code dates to packaging consistency.

Candidates should have 2–6 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with food industry standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Two to six years related experience and/or training.
• Food industry background a plus; or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production of safe, high quality products by verification of all processes and adherence to critical control points.
• Learn and follow all Fuji Operator guidelines and Plex procedures.
• Perform machine maintenance, inspect components, monitor temperature settings and speeds, and set dates daily.
• Identify product laminates and ensure products meet specifications.
• Check wraps, seals, weights, and label printing to meet QC standards.
• Notify supervision/QA of quality issues and disposition nonconforming product.
• Adhere to GMPs, HACCP procedures, and proper handling of color coded containers.
• Support changeovers, help reduce downtime, and maintain clean work area.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lb and perform additional duties as needed.
