Qualifications

• Operate production equipment and perform basic maintenance reporting.
• Accurately monitor output, weights, and bag checks for quality.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area per SOPs.
• Read instructions in English and record production data.

Responsibilities

• Assist setup of production equipment before runs, typically 1 hour prior.
• Operate optical sorters, x-ray/metal detectors, tape machines, inkjets.
• Make minor adjustments to ensure proper operation.
• Report repairs or maintenance requests to maintenance personnel.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment use.
• Move production equipment as needed using lift trucks or vehicles.
• Perform quality checks on metal detectors, bag weights, labels.
• Ensure finished bags are sealed and saleable from machinery.
• Escalate any quality concerns to shift lead or supervisor.
