Job summary

Performance Food Group (PFG) Manufacturing seeks a production associate to set up and maintain line equipment, monitor production, and support GMP, safety and quality standards while keeping product flowing efficiently.

You will work in a team, verify ingredients and supplies, wear PPE, perform line startup, run quality checks, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and help with housekeeping and paperwork at end of shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse and/or production environment.
• Includes ability to operate in a GMP/safety-focused setting.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork, verify ingredients, supplies, packaging and prepare for operations.
• Put on required PPE and safety gear.
• Set-up/assemble line equipment, perform metal detector checks and start up the line.
• Monitor the process, complete quality checks, change label rolls, check packaging and finished cases.
• Troubleshoot problems and perform minor repairs to equipment.
• Assist with line supply and housekeeping; secure equipment at end of shift.
