Job summary

CompoSecure is seeking a skilled technician to operate, set up, and maintain Muhlbauer equipment to meet production goals with high precision. You will train new hires, manage changes in programs, and verify product quality through inspection of first parts and in-process pieces.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, documentation, and safe operation with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues; overtime and weekend demand may occur based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years or more of relevant experience.
• High School or GED Diploma required; Technical School Certification/Degree preferred.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems using schematics and diagnostic equipment.
• Must have knowledge of mathematical skills with all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and required for specific jobs, including new programs.
• Lead machine operation training for new hires and document training.
• Start-up, shut down and changeover of machines and procedures.
• Observe operations to verify accuracy and quality of parts.
• Inspect first part and ongoing pieces for tolerances.
• Maintain preventative maintenance and spare parts inventories.
• Complete required logs and documentation.
