Job summary

Brunswick is seeking a Holecutter to drill and cut holes in fiberglass hulls, decks, and components, ensuring precise, clean openings per spec. You will read blueprints, mark positions, and use hand-held tools to achieve quality results.

The role requires attention to safety, PPE, and the ability to work in a fast-paced plant environment, with potential overtime to meet production needs and strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Read and follow work instructions, measurements, templates, and basic blueprints to locate and cut holes accurately.
• Able to safely operate hand-held cutting and drilling tools used to cut fiberglass components.
• Visually inspect cut openings for size, placement, and quality and make minor corrections as needed.
• Wear PPE including respirators, face shields, gloves, and eye protection for extended periods while cutting fiberglass.
• Work scheduled hours, including overtime, as required to meet production demands.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark hole positions on fiberglass hulls, decks, and components to ensure proper alignment.
• Cut, drill, and trim holes using hand tools per specifications.
• Rough trim and finish grind openings for proper fit and finish.
• Inspect drilled openings for size, placement, and quality; correct as needed.
• Safely operate cutting, drilling, and grinding equipment with PPE and dust controls.
• Maintain tools and work areas in clean, organized condition.
• Operate forklifts/tugger vehicles to move molds, materials, and parts.
