Job summary

Brunswick is seeking a Holecutter in Vonore, TN to drill and trim holes in fiberglass hulls and components. You will use hand-held drills, hole saws, grinders, and routers to meet strict specifications and maintain quality standards.

The role requires reading blueprints/templates, wearing PPE, and performing safety-focused operations in a busy marine manufacturing setting. Overtime may be necessary to support production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, templates, and basic blueprints to locate and cut holes accurately.
• Ability to wear PPE and work with drilling/cutting tools.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet production demands.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy fiberglass manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark hole positions on fiberglass hulls, decks, and parts using blueprints and templates.
• Cut, drill, and trim holes in fiberglass components with hand-held drills, hole saws, grinders, routers.
• Finish trim around openings to ensure proper fit and smooth edges.
• Inspect drilled openings for size, placement, and quality; correct defects as needed.
• Safely operate cutting and drilling equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Transport molds and parts using forklifts and tugger vehicles as needed.
