Motion Industries is hiring a Fabricator for on-site work in Warwick, RI. The role involves following engineering drawings to fabricate, assemble, and repair dies and tools with high precision.

You will operate brakes, shears, grinders, and drill presses to bend, cut, form, and drill components, and you may weld parts as needed. Under supervision, you will verify pieces against specifications, inspect for defects, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area while supporting continuous

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Strong math skills and precision in measurement.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts prior to assembly.
• Examine work pieces for defects and verify conformance to specs.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines to bend, cut, form, or drill.
• Position, align, fit and weld parts to form units per blueprints.
• Weld components in various positions as required.
• Follow layout specifications and use appropriate tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow procedures.
• Study engineering drawings to determine materials and sequences.
