Motion Industries is seeking a skilled Fabricator to operate and maintain fabrication equipment in Portland, OR. You will lay out and assemble parts per blueprints, set up machines for shaping, and weld components as required to complete assemblies.

The role requires reading drawings, accurate measurements, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. You will contribute to a safe, organized workshop and adhere to specifications.

Qualifikationen

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts prior to assembly.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines to bend, cut, form, punch, drill or assemble components.
• Weld components in various positions and tack-weld as needed.
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials and task sequences.
