APPI, LLC is seeking an Estimator / Product Quoting Specialist in Delray Beach, FL. The role focuses on preparing accurate quotes for laminated sheet products, typically with multiple configurations and components, and coordinating with vendors to confirm costs.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient with spreadsheets, and able to clarify specifications with vendors and internal teams to ensure precise estimates and timely quotes.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, quoting, purchasing, or project coordination preferred.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and ability to read product specs.
• Ability to interpret material lists, pricing tables and vendor quotes.
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Experience with wood products, cabinetry, veneer, or related materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review customer quote requests, project plans and product configurations.
• Look up stock material and labor costs.
• Interpret custom material specifications and request vendor quotes.
• Compare and organize vendor pricing.
• Identify missing, unclear, or conflicting information.
• Coordinate with sales, production, purchasing, and vendors on scope, materials, lead times, and pricing.
• Prepare accurate customer quotes with clear assumptions and supporting details.
• Maintain estimate records, vendor pricing, quote history, and spreadsheet inputs.
• Help improve quoting accuracy, consistency, and speed.
