Qualifications

• 2+ years in quoting, estimating, or cost analysis in machining or precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read drawings, GD&T, and specifications.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and shop-floor operations.
• Proficiency with Excel; ERP/MRP or estimating software a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and math/analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, drawings, models, and specs to understand part requirements.
• Develop cost estimates for material, machining, labor, tooling, and overhead.
• Prepare clear, timely quotations for customers.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to validate methods and cycle times.
• Source pricing from suppliers for materials and outside services.
• Maintain estimating standards, cost databases, and templates.
• Track quote activity and follow up on proposals.
• Support pricing strategy with sales and leadership.
• Improve quoting process for speed and accuracy.
