Job summary

Process Insights, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an Assembly Technician for the Industrial Measurement Solutions division. You will assemble, test, and prepare high‑precision gas analyzers and related equipment for shipment, reporting to the Production Manager.

Candidate must have an associate degree or 2–5 years of relevant experience, hands-on soldering, and ability to read drawings. The role requires teamwork, safety adherence, and flexibility to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2–5 years relevant experience in electronics/mechanical tech.
• Experience in mechanical assembly with good manual dexterity.
• Hands-on soldering and electronics assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components for gas analyzers and related equipment with precision.
• Solder lasers, circuit boards, and other sensitive electronic parts as required.
• Pull and prepare parts and materials based on drawings and job specs.
• Finalize analyzers and equipment for shipment while verifying all requirements.
• Operate and maintain test equipment (oscilloscopes, voltmeters, wavemeters).
• Assist in troubleshooting assembly issues with engineers.
